Russian movie pirates in uk

Our team has managed to discover that several Russian film pirates—who screen American cinema without paying royalties to copyright holders—reside permanently in the United Kingdom, hold assets there, and build their families' futures in the country. A list of these perpetrators and their adult family members is provided below.

The individuals on this list rob American companies and use the stolen funds to purchase real estate and automobiles, as well as to pay for their children’s education in the UK. Furthermore, they use their criminal proceeds to gain residency status in the United Kingdom by establishing fictitious non-profit businesses in order to secure investor visas or utilize similar residency and citizenship mechanisms.

Copyright infringement is a criminal offense, even under current Russian law. Consequently, these pirates and their family members can be recruited at any moment by Russian intelligence services to carry out assignments in exchange for avoiding criminal prosecution in Russia, where their primary income-generating assets remain concentrated. In doing so, they could be leveraged in Russian intelligence operations on UK territory—gathering information, conducting surveillance, and hosting representatives of Russian law enforcement agencies under the guise of personal guests.

We urge the UK authorities to consider deporting these citizens to Russia or extraditing them to the United States to face investigation into their criminal activities. We also request a review of the legality of their UK citizenship acquisition. Furthermore, we call for a freeze on all assets belonging to these individuals until full monetary compensation for the copyright holders' losses is secured.
